Everything you need to know before buying rubber gym floor tiles in Ireland. How much you need, what to choose, how to install, and how to care for it.
Our tiles are 1000×1000mm — that's 1m² per tile. Calculating how many tiles you need is straightforward:
Example: A 4.2m × 7.8m room → round up to 5m × 8m = 40 tiles. Add 10% = 44 tiles.
Both tiles are 20mm thick and commercial grade. The key difference is the top layer.
The workhorse. 100% recycled SBR rubber with a finely compressed matt finish. Excellent shock absorption and noise reduction. Perfect for home gyms, weight training areas and most commercial applications.
Best for: home gyms, weight rooms, garages, general commercial
View Standard Tile →All the strength of the Standard tile with an EPDM top layer added. Sweat and water resistant, non-slip, and much easier to wipe clean. Ideal for high-intensity environments where hygiene matters.
Best for: PT studios, HIIT gyms, boxing gyms, commercial high-traffic
View Premium Tile →Our tiles loose-lay on any flat, dry subfloor. No adhesive or special preparation required in most cases:
All tiles come with free interlocking connectors (4 per tile). Here's how to install them:
No glue, no mess, no power tools required. Most rooms can be completed in a couple of hours.
Sweep or vacuum to remove dust and debris. For Standard tiles, a dry mop works well. For Premium EPDM tiles, wipe down with a damp cloth after use.
Mop with warm water and a mild pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach-based cleaners which can degrade rubber over time. Rinse and allow to dry fully.
Do not use solvent-based cleaners, bleach, or ammonia. Avoid dragging heavy equipment across tiles — use sliders or lift equipment into position.
